While it’s true that female superheroes tend to be drawn with impossibly curvaceous figures, the fact that almost all comic book artists are men is not the reason why. (Well, not the only reason.) For starters, they’re super heroes—so it’s only natural that they have super measurements, right? She’s Wonder Woman, not Flat Chested Girl Next Door Woman! Secondly, can you think of a more effective crime fighting weapon than a killer body? Who can escape to their hideout when they’re too busy ogling a girl in a skin tight, star-spangled swimsuit? Artist Adam Hughes gets that, and that’s how his covers for Wonder Woman, Catwoman, Lara Croft, and other fantasy babes put the majesty and awe—and a whole lot of sexiness—back into hero worship. They almost make us want to take up a life of crime just for a chance to get tied up in that golden lasso.

One of Fleshbot’s overseas operatives pointed us towards a new program on Britain’s E4 that premiered last night which sounds worth setting our TiVos for (if we were able to get E4, that is). Describing it as “an explicit version of “Judge Judy”, he tells us that the first episode of “Sex In Court” “featured a woman who took her boyfrind to ‘court’ for demanding anal sex all of the time and another woman who took her boyfriend to ‘court’ for secretly filming them having sex and forwarding it to all of his friends.” (Are we sure he wasn’t watching a pirate broadcast of the Spice Channel instead?) Unfortunately there’s not much by way of info online yet aside from a promo clip on Maxim’s website—it doesn’t even have its own program page on E4’s online listings yet—but we’re hoping some eagle-eyed legal aficionado will post a torrent file or upload the video somewhere soon. After all, sitting here fantasizing about Judge Judy wearing nothing but a garter belt and leather corset under her robe can only take us so far.

Sorry, but sometimes those tabloid headline writers get the better of us, and how else could we capture the brouhaha brewing (sorry again) over some cheeky photos of pinup model Lara Bingle. It seems Lara—who is famous down under for appearing in a big international tourism campaign—is suing Zoo Weekly because the "smutty" magazine published some unauthorized bikini photos of her. Never mind the fact that she already posed nude for the allegedly not smutty, German version of GQ. She says it’s about her rights, not about her boobs, but why should Zoo Weekly be considered any less respectable than GQ? All exposure is good exposure when you’re a model (a lawsuit makes for good free publicity, doesn’t it?) and besides, nobody reads either one for the articles.
