We’ve been eagerly awaiting the New York City Sex Blogger Calendar since, well, since we first heard about it. A chance to see the likes of Audacia Ray, Jamye Waxman, and, yes, a certain Fleshbot editrix stripped down to their skivvies? How could we not want a copy of our very own? To our great annoyance, the calendar won’t be officially released for another few weeks… but in the meantime, at least we have this behind the scenes video to tide ourselves over with. It’s not quite the same—but really, what is?

“Mom hair” is a recognized real-world phenomenon: when a mom finds her hairdo getting in the way of her busy lifestyle, she trims it down so it’s practical and managable with minimal time and effort. Porn stars, on the other hand, are largely known for their luxuriant, high-maintenance manes. But what about the MILFs—or at least the ones who play them on TV in adult videos? While technically not all cougars are MILFs (though most MILFs are indeed cougars), this collection of ladies seems like a good benchmark for MILFdom through the porn universe. And what do you know, they’ve all got long sexy hair with a little volume to it! Only Kylie Ireland has bangs hanging in her eyes, which though damning on many MILFs look pretty sharp on her. If there’s anything we here at Fleshbot get a bigger kick out of than looking at the naked bodies of complete strangers, it’s looking at the naked bodies of those near and dear to us. So we were extra tickled to hear about a cheeky new 2009 calendar project featuring not only some of our bestest friends and colleagues—including Jayme Waxman, Rachel Kramer Bussel, Audacia Ray, and Fleshbot Associate Editrix Lux Alptraum Herself—but several other “dynamic literary and sex positive women” who we look forward to getting to know that much better over the next twelve months or so.

It’s all to benefit Audacia Ray’s worthy Sex Work 101 public education project, and for a (very) limited time you can even sponsor one of the days on the calendar so that everyone who buys a copy will know when to celebrate your birthday or the anniversary of the first time you fapped it to an episode of “Wonder Woman”. If you’re hoping for full-on naked cheesecake action, you might still want to look elsewhere since we have it on excellent authority that photographer Stacie Joy will be shooting her subjects in sexy burlesque-style poses only. Which is just as well, because sometimes looking at some of our bestest friends and colleagues fully naked can get a little embarassing.
