Organic Beauty Magazine Launches
Posted in magazines, AB on January 8th, 2009
Media hope springs (organically) eternal! Turns out not everyone is buying into the end of the print world scenario. Sovereign/Homestead has announced it is launching Organic Beauty, a bimonthly magazine that will “serve as the authority on everything related to natural, eco-friendly and organic beauty.” Think a green Allure.
Rona Berg, who is a former New York Times Magazine beauty editor as well as editorial director of Elle, is the editor-in-chief of the new venture. Says Berg: “Going green is no longer just a trend, it’s a lifestyle. Organic Beauty will provide a smart, sophisticated resource for women who want to cut through the confusion and find more natural alternatives.” The February issue featuring Olivia Wilde on the cover is on stands now. Full release after the jump.
