This YouTube user’s outstanding (and outstandingly lengthy) homage to straight porn hunk Hakan Serbes is notable for three things: (1) its weird way of blocking out every ladypart with topographical maps; (2) its blow-by-blow recap of the infamous, totally homoerotic MMF scene Hakan does with Nacho Vidal in “Face Dance Obsession”; and (3) its charmingly clunky English-as-a-Second-Language description: “Hakan is the ‘Babe’ of gay men. In news that will surprise absolutely no one, the two University of Nebraska wrestlers who appeared in those videos at Fratmen.tv that we posted about earlier this week have been dismissed from the Huskers wrestling team, with their coach remarking that “their behavior doesn’t reflect the team’s standard of excellence”. Based on what we’ve seen of them, we think they upheld at least certain standards just fine—maybe he’s just jealous? (ap.google.com; more @ chicagotribune.com)

They say the holiday season starts earlier every year—and based on the number of press releases announcing end-of-year blockbusters jingling across our desks already, we’re prone to agree. The most recent item to catch our attention is “Magnum”, a coffee table tome featuring the men of Ragin Stallion and published by Bruno Gmünder. Featured on its undoubtedly glossy pages are Fleshbot Crush Object (and coverboy) Steve Cruz along with Roman Ragazzi, François Sagat, and a host of other porn dreamboats all shot by photographer Kent Taylor; while it comes out it Europe next month, it won’t hit the states ’til November. Even though that lineup gives us an excuse to stay on Santa’s good side come the holidays, we have to say we’re less impressed by its format: at only 9″ x 12″ and a skimpyish 192 pages, we were hoping for something a little bigger. Then again, aren’t we always?

We’re not sure if he timed it to coincide with the goings-on in Beijing this week—but it’s appropriate that director Jett Blakk chose yesterday to announce that he’s finished shooting his latest sports-themed flick “Ringleader”, which is about something called the “rural wrestling circuit”. We don’t pretend to know what that is, but we do care about the fact that it features the “acting debuts” of Active Duty men Brock, Kasey, Kaden, Cole, Chaz, Reece, Domenic and Spencer. We won’t spoil the fun by giving away the plot (of course there’s a plot!), but we have high hopes given Blakk’s profound understanding of what makes wrestling so damn hot: “Fresh, hot, young, muscle-bound men wearing nothing but skin-tight spandex wrestling gear that accentuates every muscle and bulge … They’re wearing nothing underneath those singlets, not even a jock.”. Maybe we’ll get even deeper insights on the director’s commentary when the DVD finally comes out. (There will be director’s commentary, right?)
