Because we want to be totally “down” with what the young people are “into” these days, we went to the library to find a book about “emo” culture—but there weren’t any. So we had to look it up on Wikipedia. We learned that emo girls like to dye their hair black, comb it down over their face, and then listen to sensitive rock bands who are really in touch with their feelings. (Or something like that.) We also discovered that this doesn’t necessarily mean that they’re depressed or moody or about to cut you (or themselves) with a knife, which is good to know! It took a totally different site, however, to teach us that some of these girls like to take naked self-portraits … and that certain other people really, really like that too.

Naked Emo Girls (the blog) has only been in business a month, but it makes up for its relative lack of archives with a whole lot of enthusiasm for finding naked emo girls online. It probably adds to the excitement that the girls are mostly amateurs—and it’s comforting to know that the site claims to feature only models who are of legal age. But the totally best part is that you don’t have to know a thing about emo culture to enjoy it! So put on an old Frank Sinatra 78 and check it out.

The New York Times outs identifies the 22-year-old aspiring singer known as “Kristen” who found herself at the epicenter of the brouhaha surrounding Eliot Spitzer this week. At least now we know one reason why she turned to escorting — after listening to that track on her MySpace page (you know, the one with what the Times called it’s “dated slang”), we doubt her vocal career would’ve made her much money anyway.
