Hey, Inked_Dude: have you ever had one of those weeks? You know, where everything’s been kinda crazy and unfocused and then your air conditioner goes on the fritz and your boss is all like, “What did you do to the air conditioner, Sipowitz?”, and you’re like, “I didn’t touch it!”, and he’s like, “I’ve got my eye on you!”, and then coffee spills in your lap and you’re wearing khakis, of all things—like a fifth-grader—so you’ve gotta walk around for hours looking like a monkey shat on your lap? No? Well, let us tell you: it’s no picnic. It’s times like this, we need some quick and dirty, low-down raunchy fun—and you seem like just the dude to give it to us. So let’s step into the bathroom and jack the pain away, shall we?
Remember those crazy days of your youth when you used to stick a couple of safety pins in your nose before hitting that Minor Threat show, where you would hook up with that hottie with the magenta hair while downing a fifth of Jack Daniel’s before you passed out in a pool of your own vomit on the bathroom floor of your friend’s squat? Those really were they days, weren’t they? Alas, there’s nothing we can do to bring them back … but we have to say that Burning Angel’s “POV Punx” comes awfully close to recreating them from a porn perspective, even if they went ahead and updated the soundtrack a bit. (And minus the Jack Daniel’s and passing out in a pool of our own vomit, that is. Even the most sophisticated of POV camera techniques has its limits, y’know.) That Scarlett Pain isn’t punk for pay; she really lives the life. From her gritty warehouse mattress scene in “Little Runaway 2″ to getting her 11th tattoo, while naked, on film in Matt Zane’s “Tattooed and Tight 3,” we feel that the 26-year-old Pain said what she meant and meant what she said. “I get tattoos when I’m stressed out,” Pain said. “And it calms me right down.” Please leave some room for our own product placement, Scarlett.
